Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external audit requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring vendor and client invoices are processed correctly.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) to generate financial reports and assist in budget forecasting.
- Collaborate with management to analyze financial data and identify opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
