Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting tasks and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local tax compliance.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in budget preparation and perform variance analysis.
- Maintain organized and secure financial documentation and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (CPA preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
