Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank transactions
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 150+ employees
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies for operational efficiency
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial controls and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial reviews
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- CPA certification or equivalent preferred
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight financial deadlines
