Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with precise accuracy
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific Nevada tax codes
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth potentials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, Sage)
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with weekly pay exposure preferred
- CPA or CMA certification highly desirable
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Deep understanding of Nevada state tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder reporting and team collaboration
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes and reconciliations
