Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations while maintaining accurate financial records
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict attention to deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and reporting
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Support annual audits and tax preparation with organized documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight financial reporting deadlines
