Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee daily financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of all ledgers.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Closing Processes: Assist in the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP and internal company policies.
- Budget Analysis: Monitor budget variances and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional accounting experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting financial data to stakeholders.
