Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with the preparation of annual audits and tax filings.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
