Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger maintenance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliations
- Develop financial models and forecasts for strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and Ohio state tax regulations
- Collaborate with audit teams during annual examinations
- Implement process improvements in accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in Ohio
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Proven experience with financial reporting and reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of Ohio tax laws and compliance requirements
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills
- Experience in public accounting or corporate finance
