Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures.
- Analyze financial data to prepare accurate reports, forecasts, and budgets for executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal financial controls.
- Manage tax preparation, filing, and audits while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial decision-making.
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP) for optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance.
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
