Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for portfolio clients
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and payroll processing
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with strict SOX compliance
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure audit readiness
- Collaborate with CFOs to optimize cash flow and improve financial reporting accuracy
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and industry-specific standards
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary cloud-based financial platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with Power BI skills
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and audit coordination
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proven track record of process improvement and system implementation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to advise non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with multi-state compliance and international transactions
