Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and expense reports with weekend deadlines
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with tax professionals for weekend tax filing and documentation preparation
- Maintain digital financial records using QuickBooks and Excel with advanced functions
- Provide weekend financial support to clients with urgent reporting needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with weekend or shift work
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables), and accounting software
- CPA certification or actively pursuing (preferred)
- Proven ability to meet strict weekend deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in high-pressure scenarios
