Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures during the designated weekend shift.
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and variance analysis.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and optimize workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
