Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and quarter-end close procedures with weekend-specific deadlines
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and financial statement preparation
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and expense reports during weekend shifts
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for weekend operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on weekend financial reporting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance weekend accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of public/private accounting experience with weekend shift history
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
