As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic decision-making for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support annual budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote environment.
