Responsibilities
- Execute weekend reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing procedures
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processing with weekend transaction cycles
- Prepare weekend financial reports and variance analyses for Monday reviews
- Coordinate with external auditors during weekend site visits and document reviews
- Maintain weekend compliance documentation for tax filings and regulatory requirements
- Lead weekend bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring activities
- Support weekend payroll processing and employee expense approvals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years of experience
- CPA certification or active pursuit preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday 8am-5pm)
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial statement preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in high-volume environments
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and weekend filing deadlines
