Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for weekend business cycles
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll transactions on weekends
- Conduct weekend audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Analyze financial data trends and provide weekend operational insights
- Support month-end closing procedures during weekend shifts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on weekend financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent accounting software
- CPA certification or active pursuit strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with weekend or shift-based financial roles
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with high accuracy standards
- Strong communication abilities for weekend team collaboration
