We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team on a weekend shift basis. This role offers the flexibility of a part-time schedule while providing critical support to maintain our financial operations. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and supporting senior leadership with strategic financial insights. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely invoice processing
- Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support tax preparation and documentation for audits
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
