Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile weekend financial transactions with precision
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Support audit preparation and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with weekday team for financial continuity
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis for management decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid New Mexico CPA license preferred
- Must be available Saturdays and Sundays (8am-5pm)
