Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring invoices are paid on time and revenue is collected promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure all tax filings are submitted in a timely manner.
- Perform internal audits and assist in the implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are mandatory.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
