In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports. We offer a competitive salary and a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in our systems.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll calculations and ensure tax withholdings and benefits are calculated correctly.
- Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and filing deadlines.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Software: Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
