Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure compliance with changing regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct internal audits and assist in the development of budget forecasts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
