Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Assist senior accountants with daily financial reporting and data entry.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.
- Prepare basic financial statements and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding account status and transactions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and high numerical accuracy.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP) is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
