Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Conduct account reconciliations and ensure SOX compliance for all financial transactions
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with auditors and tax authorities during examinations and filings
- Implement process improvements using advanced accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Provide financial insights to executive leadership through regular reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial compliance standards
