Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and general ledger account verifications.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly tax filings and year-end close procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, company policies, and GAAP standards.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data and communicate findings to management.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless handover of accounting duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is highly preferred but not strictly required for this role.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and proactively during night shift hours.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
