Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation to ensure accuracy and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including generating financial reports and adjusting entries.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Review and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for financial documents and invoices.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for management review.
- Support the internal audit process and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Ability to work independently and accurately during night shift hours.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred but not mandatory.
