Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and external partners
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement analysis
- Support tax preparation and documentation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Night shift availability and flexibility to work weekends as needed
