Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and returns.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and monitor financial performance.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Generate detailed financial reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience (required).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
