Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis.
- Prepare and review financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) for internal and external reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile credit card statements and maintain accurate expense reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and financial processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and accounting software.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA preferred; Associate’s degree with relevant experience considered.
- Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
