Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our growing finance department. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial reporting to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and tax regulations.
- Process payroll data and assist in tax preparation filings.
- Assist internal and external auditors during review periods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in general accounting or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
