Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card audits.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and profit and loss reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and year-end audit processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal accounting regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable with high accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
