Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Conduct internal audits to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Prepare budget forecasts and variance analysis for management.
- Process payroll and maintain employee payroll records accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance standards.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, macros).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA preferred but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
