Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the general ledger system, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the full cycle of AP/AR, including invoicing, payments, and collections, ensuring timely processing.
- Compliance & Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely compensation processing.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency within the finance team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Licensure: CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and ERP systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Remote Work: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
