Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, specifically accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and conduct variance analysis on financial data.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely disbursement to all employees.
- Prepare and analyze budget reports to support strategic financial planning.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and team interaction.
- CPA certification is a significant plus.
