Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparations and filings.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding financial reports and variances.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent professional experience).
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
