Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records and the general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate tax compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
