Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local business reporting.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are properly documented and classified.
- Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or finance.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
