Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and external audit schedules.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Review and approve journal entries and expense reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
