The Role
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will work closely with senior management to ensure accuracy in financial records and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for external audits.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred.
- 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
