Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate general ledger maintenance.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during the review process.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Provide financial data and insights to management to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders.
