Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax filings and audits.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurate and posted timely.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting systems and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
