Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and support external audits.
- Review and process journal entries with a focus on accuracy and timely posting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting processes.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of proven experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
