Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Oversee the monthly and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and financial reporting procedures.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
