Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Perform monthly and yearly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and support external audit requirements.
- Monitor and control operating expenses, providing variance analysis to management.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience (Immediate hire roles require strong experience).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
