Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of bank statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and provide variance analysis.
- Support the tax preparation process and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
