Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger and financial records.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and manage cash flow with precision and efficiency.
- Payroll Administration: Assist in payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate distribution of employee compensation.
- Compliance & Audits: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and assist in budget preparation to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA certification is a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and maintain high data integrity.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Work Ethic: Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
