Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure timely submission to regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for internal and external audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
