Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger with high accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate collections.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly tax documents and annual audit schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations (GAAP).
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting processes and financial controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
