Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports with high accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings in strict compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting processes, forecast accuracy, and cost control measures.
- Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded, documented, and filed in compliance with internal controls.
- Support external audits and provide requested documentation to regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience (candidates with less experience and strong aptitude will be considered).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Deep understanding of GAAP reporting and general ledger accounting principles.
