Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and tax planning strategies.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly.
- Perform internal audits and assist with external audit preparations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
