Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and tax returns.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Support the external audit process and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Collaborate with management to develop and monitor the annual budget.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely payment to employees and vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
